We ask that all volunteers are over the age of 16 unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please reach out to us via email at info@enfieldloavesandfishes.org.

How does it work/when can I start?

You’ll start by filling out a form on our Volunteer Management System, Bloomerang. Depending on your answers, you’ll either be able to sign up for shifts right away, or you may need to be manually approved by a member of staff. Click here to visit our Volunteer Opportunities page.

What if I have court ordered community service?

We are a great organization to fulfill your community service requirements. Please begin the volunteer sign up process and fill out the mandatory fields. You will not be able to schedule yourself at this time, your application will be filtered into a queue which needs manual approval from staff. We will reach out to you within 3-5 business days.

Donations & Funding

How is Enfield Loaves & Fishes funded?

Because we do not ask our guests for income information, we are not eligible for state or federal funding. Therefore, we are funded entirely on donations and grants applied for by the Executive Director.

How can I donate?

You can donate in a number of ways—monetary donations go the furthest, but we also have an Amazon wish list and a High Needs Items list if you’d like to donate that way.

When can I come to drop donations off?

Per our Gift Acceptance Policy, we can accept donations Monday-Friday, between 11am and 3pm. Please do not leave donations outside of these hours. Our premises are under 24/7 surveillance.

What items are/are not accepted?

We can accept food, food prep, and food serving materials in the original, sealed container.
We cannot accept clothing, housewares, furniture, appliances, or anything else that isn’t food, food prep, or food serving materials.

Do you take [item]?

If it’s food, food prep, or food serving materials in the original, sealed container, yes. If the item does not match those descriptions, no. If you’re not sure, contact us via email at info@enfieldloavesandfishes.org.
